Program Details

Our 4-week Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technician course offers hands-on training in performing EKGs, preparing patients, and understanding heart rhythms and basic cardiac anatomy. The total tuition for the course is $3,000.

Payment Options

Please note: To reserve your seat, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required. This deposit will be applied toward your total tuition balance. The remaining tuition balance must be paid in full by the last day of class.

• Option 1 - Tuition Assistance & Self-Pay: 

  If you are paying out of pocket and not receiving assistance from any outside funding sources, you qualify for tuition assistance, reducing your cost to just $800. The remaining $2,200 will be covered by Soaring CNA sponsors on your behalf, bringing the total course value to $3,000.

Completion & Certification

Upon successful completion of the program, you will qualify to take the National Electrocardiograph Technician certification exam. Soaring CNA Training Center is also a testing site for this program, so eligible graduates can complete both training and testing with us.

I am thrilled that you've selected Soaring CNA training center to kickstart your nursing career. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 2pm, with the doors opening daily at 8:45am. Please advise that you must attend all courses as well as participate in class to be successful. We are located at 2370 Linden Rd Flint Mi 48532.

On your first day of class, you will receive all orientation paperwork, including the application, background screening, and course requirements. Your instructor will be available to assist you, ensuring all documentation is correctly filled out. A negative TB test is required and can be obtained at your local health department, primary physician’s office, urgent care, or here at Soaring CNA for an additional $20. If TB tests are not obtained by week one you will be dismissed until in compliance. You can also get this done prior to your course beginning. During class, it is mandatory that you dress in scrubs. The color/pattern of your scrubs do not matter. If you’re having difficulty finding scrubs, we do sell them for $26/set here at Soaring or you can shop with us online at soaringessentials.com. You are allowed to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt particularly in the colder months. Please come prepared daily with paper, pen, and a highlighter. Feel free to bring your lunch, or explore the nearby restaurants located about half a mile down the street. 

Additionally, we offer a BLS (Basic Life Support) class through the American Heart Association at an extra cost of $50. While not mandatory if you are interested in signing up, please send us an e-mail and we will add you to the BLS class. For those already registered for BLS we will discuss the schedule on the second day of class.
