Program Details

Our 4-month Medical Billing & Coding course provides a strong foundation in healthcare documentation, insurance claims, coding systems, and reimbursement processes. This hybrid course combines online instruction with in-person support for flexible learning. Don’t have a computer? You’re welcome to use our on-site computer lab during business hours. The total tuition for the course is $4,000.

Please note: To reserve your seat, a non-refundable deposit of $750 is required. This deposit will be applied toward your total tuition balance. Tuition must be paid in full by the last day of class.

  Thanks to Soaring CNA’s program sponsors, $1,000 of your tuition is covered at no cost to you. Your out-of-pocket tuition is $3,000 payable in affordable monthly installments of $750 over 4 months.

Completion & Certification

Upon successful completion of the program, you will qualify to take the National Medical Billing and Coding certification exam. Soaring CNA Training Center is also a testing site for this program, so eligible graduates can complete both training and testing with us.

I am thrilled that you've selected Soaring CNA Training Center to kickstart your nursing career. Classes will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Doors will open at 4:45 PM. We are located at 2370 S. Linden Rd. Flint MI 48532.

            During class, it is mandatory that you wear scrubs and bring a light jacket or sweatshirt for the colder months. Please come prepared daily with pen paper and a highlighter. Feel free to bring your lunch or explore nearby restaurants situated about half a mile down the street. 

            All orientation paperwork including the application background screening and course requirements will be provided on your first day of class your instructor will be available to assist you in completing all documentation accurately.

            You'll need to bring a copy of your high school diploma or G.E.D if you no longer have possession of these, transcripts will be accepted. You will also need a negative TB test available at your local health department, primary physician, or we offer them at Soaring CNA Training Center for an additional $20 by Friday of week one. A gait belt is required, and you can get these from any scrub store, or we sell them for $10.

Additionally, we offer a BLS (Basic Life Support) class through the American Heart Association at an extra cost of $50. While not mandatory if you are interested in signing up, please send us an e-mail and we will add you to the BLS class. For those already registered for BLS we will discuss the schedule on the second day of class. 

All tuition balances must be settled by the last day of class to receive a certificate of completion. We eagerly anticipate your participation in this enriching learning experience and look forward to seeing you on your scheduled start date!
